Fearing God

Fearing God was the first drama I specifically wrote about a real living person. I heard this powerful little Zulu woman's testimony and thought it would make a good drama. I followed the steps I am still using to do this:
1. I got her permission.
2. Then I interviewed her to get the details accurate.
3. When I went to write the drama I worked to make it sound a much like her as possible and put in as many details that she gave me as I could.
4. Then I had her read and approve it before I showed it to anyone. She loved it.
I am using this process more and more, especially with culturally sensitive topics. When someone is demonstrating a radical Biblical way of life, this is a tool to show what that looks like. (In future postings I will let you know in this spot when the drama is about a real person.)
This drama also brings in the concept of Lobola. The definition is in the footnote of the drama. The name is different around the continent, but the practice is common. Next week I will post the drama that is about that practice.
I do not have any recording of this drama.
