HELMET

By the time the family gets to the helmet of salvation, they are able to see and feel the weight, purpose and importance of each piece of this armor.

John, who is the one getting fitted with the armor, realizes that in actuality he does not have a helmet of salvation. He has never accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior for himself.

We all must individually take and put on the helmet of salvation. We do that when we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and took our punishment on the cross. We can walk around holding the helmet in our hands, but if we don't put it on our heads, it can't protect us at all.

Do you have your helmet on?

I have this in French for your listening pleasure.
