TRIBES

In this drama I tried out using a story (with permission) from Egermeier's Bible Story Book. This book is an excellent tool for family devotions and the author is someone I respect for her the story telling skills. I had been privileged to be part of the team that got this book translated from English into Swahili for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The topic of tribes is an issue all over Africa and the world for that matter. The Bible says the source of tribes and races stems from one family. If this is believed, it should make a difference in how we Christians treat each other. Has the church not taught it? Or don't we believe it? If it is just myths or stories it can't change us. How convenient is that? We can just stay the way we are!

This family in the drama is allowing this Bible truth to change them and their actions. What about me? What about you?
