COMMUNION

This topic came to me when I learned that the dramas we being used to explain to Muslims about what Christians believe and practice. I began research for subject matter that would be relevant.

I learned that one myth that Muslims have about Christian practice is that we are cannibals. We eat human flesh and drink human blood. That was serious.

The Catholic Church teaches the Doctrine of Transubstantiation which says that when the priest blesses the wine and the bread they become the actual blood and body of Jesus Christ that still have the form of wine and bread. This drama does not deal with anything that complicated.

I hope this message gets us to turn from thinking in terms of us/them to examining our hearts. The format of the ritual is not what it important. Christ gave us this practice to help us think and remember. Let's do that
