THE WITCH CHILD

The circumstances of this drama are right out of the African news. Children are injured or killed in attempts to free them from supposed demon possession. The pastors who perform these rituals use hot wax, knives, liquids, poisons, and even urine. They are also paid a lot of money for the ceremony. Thus it is in their interest to “diagnosis” a child as a witch. The victim usually does not begin to understand what is going on. Many street children have run away from home to escape this torture.

Whenever there was a deliverance from demons in the Bible it did not involve a ceremony or hurting the person. It delivered them from injury by the demons. And it left the person whole and sound. But Satan is so clever. When people make up something on their own, using their own ideas and practices, he has no problem using it against them.
